Junior Tennis Racket Size Guide by Age and Height
A junior racket that is too long or too heavy makes it hard to swing and to learn good technique. Junior rackets are sized by length, in inches. Pick the length from the child's height first, then use age as a second check.
Junior tennis racket size chart
| Age | Child's height | Racket length |
|---|---|---|
| 4 years and under | 40 in (102 cm) or less | 19 in |
| 4 to 5 years | 40 to 44 in | 21 in |
| 6 to 8 years | 45 to 49 in | 23 in |
| 9 to 10 years | 50 to 55 in | 25 in |
| 10 years and over | 55 in or more | 26 in |
Adult rackets are 27 inches long. Some extended-length adult rackets are 28 inches. This chart is a general guide. If a child is between two sizes, ask their coach, or call or WhatsApp us.
